Dr. George W. (Bill) Edwards
“Dr. Bill” was born in Tallahassee. He graduated from Leon High School, Emory University and The University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1966.
Serving in the United States Public Health Service, Dr. Bill provided dental care to the U.S. Coastguard and Merchant Marines.
Dr. Bill is a member of numerous organizations and has received many awards.
He has over 40 years experience in dentistry, with the last 26 years specializing in dentistry relating to whole body care.
Dr. Bill and wife, Bess, are very proud of their four children and nine grandchildren. Dr. David Edwards joined his practice in 2007 and their three daughters, Ann, Becky & Christy are all three medical doctors.
Dr. David W. Edwards
“Dr. David” is a Sanford Native. He graduated from Seminole High School. Dr. David received his Bachelor of Science from Florida State University and his Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the University of Florida.
Growing up in his father’s dental practice, Dr. David has always appreciated and understood the importance of Holistic Dentistry.
Dr. David is accredited with the IAOMT (International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology) and is currently serving as a member of the Board.
He and his wife, Kelly, are blessed with twins! Luke and Kate will be 3 in April.
Treatment Coordinator/Dental Hygienist
Karen is a “Florida Native”, born in Orlando. She graduated from Lyman High School and received her RDH (Registered Dental Hygienist) degree from Valencia College.
She has developed and shared her interest in holistic dentistry with Dr. Edwards for more than 34 years.
Karen will introduce you to our office. She will discuss and find ways to address your dental concerns. Using your input, she will help you find the treatment you feel most appropriate for you.
With Karen’s wealth of knowledge and experience, she is the perfect person to answer most of your dental questions.
Karen has a daughter, Emily, currently attending FSU. In her spare time… Karen enjoys caring for her “farm” including her donkey, horse & cow.
Ja’ (pronounced “Jay”) was born in Cambridge, Maryland. She and her husband, Robert, moved to Florida in 1998.
She started in dentistry in 1987 as a Certified Dental Assistant in Orthodontics and has expanded her knowledge of dentistry over the past 28 years.
Your first contact with our office will most likely be with Ja’. You will find her to be quite helpful in answering your initial questions, scheduling appointments, reviewing fees and helping with insurance questions.
Ja’ has a strong belief in the healing power of nutrition.
Terra grew up in Altamonte Springs and is a native to Florida.
She started working as a dental assistant in 1996. Terra loved dentistry so much that she decided to further her career and become a Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Santa Fe Community College in 2000.
Terra had some personal health issues almost 10 years ago that lead her down the Holistic path. She believes in and lives a healthy lifestyle.
Beverly is a certified EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary). She is a dedicated, dynamic dental assistant with more than 15 years of extensive dental experience.
Providing expert dental knowledge, care and empathy; Beverly is focused on treatment and alleviating patient fear. She enjoys working with Dr. David and expanding her knowledge of Holistic Dentistry.
When she is not caring for our exceptional patients, Beverly likes traveling with her husband and living a healthy lifestyle.
Shelby is a “Florida Native” born in Miami, Florida.
She earned her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certification at Nova Southeastern University. Shelby has been a dental assistant for five years.
Shelby loves being an assistant and having the opportunity to help people improve their health, as well as self image through their smiles. She is dedicated to making sure your dental health needs are met, and committed to ensuring you have a relaxing dental experience.
Shelby came to our office looking for the opportunity to express her enjoyment for dentistry, working in a health conscious environment where the patient comes first.
During her time away from the office; Shelby enjoys riding horses, exercising, traveling, and spending time with family.
In August of 2015, we welcomed Beckie as the newest member to our dental team. She moved from Rhode Island to Central Florida in 2011.
Beckie started her career as a Dental Assistant in 2008. She then continued to pursue her passion for helping others. She graduated with an A.S. degree in Dental Hygiene from Daytona State College in May of 2015.
She is dedicated to meeting the specific needs of each individual patient. Beckie is also certified to administer local anesthesia so her patients are comfortable during their treatment. She is very enthusiastic about being a part of our team and enjoys learning more everyday about Holistic Dentistry.
In her spare time, she enjoys running, singing, volunteering and spending time with her husband and her pet Chihuahua, Osito.
