“Dr. Bill” was born in Tallahassee. He graduated from Leon High School, Emory University and The University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 1966.

Serving in the United States Public Health Service, Dr. Bill provided dental care to the U.S. Coastguard and Merchant Marines.

Dr. Bill is a member of numerous organizations and has received many awards.

He has over 40 years experience in dentistry, with the last 26 years specializing in dentistry relating to whole body care.

Dr. Bill and wife, Bess, are very proud of their four children and nine grandchildren.  Dr. David Edwards joined his practice in 2007 and their three daughters, Ann, Becky & Christy are all three medical doctors.

“Dr.  David” is a Sanford Native.  He graduated from Seminole High School.  Dr. David received his Bachelor of Science from Florida State University and his Doctor of Medical Dentistry from the University of Florida.

Growing up in his father’s dental practice, Dr. David has always appreciated and understood the importance of Holistic Dentistry.

Dr. David is accredited with the IAOMT (International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology) and is currently serving as a member of the Board.

He and his wife, Kelly, are blessed with twins!  Luke and Kate will be 3 in April.



Office Manager

Ja’ (pronounced “Jay”) was born in Cambridge, Maryland.  She and her husband, Robert, moved to Florida in 1998.

She started in dentistry in 1987 as a Certified Dental Assistant in Orthodontics and has expanded her knowledge of dentistry over the past 31 years.

Your first contact with our office will most likely be with Ja’.  You will find her to be quite helpful in answering your initial questions, scheduling appointments, reviewing fees and helping with insurance questions.

Ja’ has a strong belief in the healing power of nutrition.



Treatment Coordinator and Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)

Shelby is a “Florida Native”  born in Miami, Florida.

She earned her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certification at Nova Southeastern University. Shelby has been a dental assistant since 2010.

Shelby loves being an assistant and having the opportunity to help people improve their health, as well as self image through their smiles. She is dedicated to making sure your dental health needs are met, and committed to ensuring you have a relaxing dental experience.

Shelby came to our office looking for the opportunity to express her enjoyment for dentistry, working in a health conscious environment where the patient comes first.

During her time away from the office Shelby enjoys playing with her ‘fur kids.” Daisy, Clifford, and Margaux are her three dogs. Miss Lanie and Miss Abby are Shelby’s two horses. Her latest addition, and not so furry kid, is Leo the Bearded Dragon!



Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) and Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)

Connie started in Dentistry in 1982 as a Dental Assistant.

In 1992, she became a Registered Dental Hygienist graduating from Palm Beach State College. Connie is certified to give local anesthetic.

Connie earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa in 1995.

She taught in a local Dental Assisting School from 2007-2017.

We’re pleased she decided to return to private practice and join our team in 2017.

Connie has quite the green thumb, she can bring just about any plant back to life.



Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)

Brittany, born in Brooklyn, New York, has lived in FL since 1999. She married her high school sweetheart and they have a beautiful daughter together.

She received her degree in Dental Hygiene from Daytona State College in 2010. Brittany finds importance in educating her patients on how to achieve optimal oral health.

Outside the office Brittany and her family love to travel, being in the mountains is one of her favorite places.



Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)

Tatjana is new to the dental field but has always had a strong interested and passion for dentistry.

Her father is an US Army Sergeant Veteran from Long Island and her mother is a German immigrant. Tatjana spent a lot of her childhood moving around the country to different army bases and graduated high school in Bohemia, NY.

Tatjana moved to Orlando in 2012 on her own to make a better life for herself. She met her fiancé, Cody, and started a family and career in dentistry. In 2015, she and Cody were blessed with a daughter named Penelope.

They live here in Sanford with two dogs, two cats and an aquarium with five tetra fish and two snails. Tatjana enjoys gardening, cooking, and exploring the outdoors, as well as painting and sculpting with her daughter.
